Lawrence O'Hara in the 33rd Regiment of Foot

Lawrence joined the 33rd from the 52nd in November 1797 when it was stationed at Madras. In 1806 he was promoted to Captain and then as the 33rd were leaving India he exchanged to move to the 56th.

The muster rolls do not necessarily coincide with the location of the person, they only indicate where the register was compiled, occasionally a specific other location is mentioned and this is noted where it occurs
