This is probably not an exhaustive list, but it seeks to cover most if not all 'Protestant' churches and chapels in the Madras Presidency built before 1900.
The starting point was the availability of Frank Perry's book The Church in Madras the three volumes are available online at: Volume 1, Volume 2 and Volume 3
To which I have added information from several publications, including Anglicanism in Madras and research conducted in the churches when I visited Madras / Chennai in 2008
