Biography: DAVID AROOLAPPEN was born of Christian parents, at Tanjore. He was educated at the Tanjore mission school, and trained at Sullivan's Gardens. He was ordained deacon in 1854, and priest in 1856. He did good work at Sawyerpuram and Putthiamputtur; in the Tinnevelly District, and died in 1865.
